Peer Micro-Consulting & Skill Monetization
Experts in tech, legal, finance and design sell micro-consultations and quick code or design reviews to their peers โ routed, metered and settled by AI voice and chat queues. Fifteen minutes of the right person, priced like fifteen minutes.
Tech
Architecture reviews, hot-path code reads, incident second opinions, security triage.
Legal
Contract redlines, clause sanity checks, compliance questions with a named lawyer behind them.
Finance
Tax and structuring questions, cap-table mechanics, valuation and diligence reads.
Design
Flow critiques, annotated screen teardowns, design-system and accessibility reviews.
The agent knows where its own answer ends
01 Expert sets their terms
Through the AI interface, the consultant declares availability, the topics they will take, and a rate โ per minute for live sessions or per query for async answers. Setup is a conversation, not a profile builder.
- Availability windows, including "ping me, I'll accept if free"
- Topic allow-list so irrelevant questions never reach them
- Rate per minute or per query, changeable any time
- Credential and identity verification before the first payout
02 Escalation from the base agent
A buyer asks TechMonk's agent a complex domain question. When it exceeds base LLM knowledge โ or carries real liability โ the agent says so plainly and suggests routing to a verified peer expert.
- Confidence and liability checks decide when to escalate
- Expert matched on topic, language, rating and current availability
- Buyer sees the rate, the expected wait and a spend ceiling before anything starts
- Queue position and ETA pushed to the thread while they wait
03 Connect, meter, settle
The agent connects buyer and expert โ live, or by relaying voice and text asynchronously โ calculates time or query metrics, collects payment from the buyer, and deposits the payout to the expert while keeping a marketplace fee.
- Meter starts at connect, stops at hangup, warns at 80% of the ceiling
- Async mode relays a voice note or written answer with the same metering
- Buyer charged at close; expert payout settles net of the fee
- Unanswered or abandoned sessions are never charged
Session statement
completed| Topic | Reseller MSA โ indemnity cap |
| Rate | โน45 / min |
| Metered | 30 min 00 s |
| Buyer ceiling | โน1,600 |
| Session value | โน1,350 |
| Platform fee (15%) | โน203 |
| Buyer charged | โน1,553 |
| Expert payout | โน1,350 |
Fee is charged to the buyer on top of the expert's rate, so the expert always receives exactly what they quoted.
Monetise the answer you were going to give for free
Most experts will not run a consulting practice. They will answer one good question between meetings if the payment, the scoping and the scheduling are somebody else's problem.
Pre-scoped questions
The agent collects context, files and the actual question before the expert is pinged. No discovery call.
No calendar tax
Accept or decline a ping. Nothing is booked into your week without your explicit yes.
Async is first-class
Record a four-minute voice note at midnight. The agent transcribes, relays and meters it the same way.
Ratings that mean something
Only completed, paid sessions can be rated, so the leaderboard cannot be farmed.
Clean payouts
Itemised statements, TDS-ready summaries, and settlement to a linked account after each session clears.
Scope protection
The topic allow-list and spend ceiling keep a fifteen-minute question from turning into an unpaid engagement.
Ask something hard
