The marketplace is a conversation, not an app.
TechMonk puts an AI agent on WhatsApp and voice that does the whole deal for two strangers — verifies the asset, negotiates the price inside limits each side set, holds funds in escrow, and settles. No listings to write. No app to install.
AI-Brokered Peer-to-Peer Asset & Ticket Exchange
A conversational secondary marketplace for high-demand items — event tickets, luxury goods, rare collectibles — bought, sold and traded entirely through WhatsApp and voice agents.
Seller forwards, agent verifies
The seller sends ticket details or photos straight into the WhatsApp thread. The agent parses the document, cross-checks the barcode, serial or grading certificate against issuer APIs, creates the listing, and takes the asset into escrow.
Buyer asks, agent negotiates
A buyer simply asks for what they want. The agent matches intent to inventory and negotiates on behalf of both parties — strictly inside the floor and ceiling each side pre-set, never revealing either.
Agreement triggers settlement
On agreement the agent raises an automated micro-payment request, collects from the buyer, transfers the proceeds to the seller, and releases the asset — transfer link, barcode or handover code — to the buyer.
The escrow rail
state machine · every tradeFunds never move directly between strangers. Either leg failing rolls the trade back to the last safe state and refunds automatically.
Document parsing
PDFs, screenshots and photos are read for barcode, seat, serial and cert numbers — then matched against issuer or authenticator APIs.
Bounded bargaining
Sellers set a floor, buyers set a ceiling. The agent closes the gap in natural language and stops the moment a limit is hit.
Escrow & rollback
Money is held, not forwarded. Non-delivery, duplicate barcodes or failed handover reverse the trade without a support ticket.
Zero install
Multi-channel agent workflows handle unstructured negotiation without asking either side to download a heavy dedicated app.
Peer Micro-Consulting & Skill Monetization
Domain experts — tech, legal, finance, design — sell micro-consultations and quick code or design reviews to peers, routed through automated AI voice and chat queues.
Expert sets terms once
Through the same AI interface, a consultant declares availability windows, the topics they will take, and a rate per minute or per query. No profile-building marathon.
Agent escalates past its own limits
A buyer asks a hard domain question. When it exceeds what the base model should answer alone, the agent says so and offers to route the question to a verified peer expert.
Connect, meter, settle
The agent bridges the two live — or relays voice and text asynchronously — meters time or queries, charges the buyer, and deposits the payout to the expert net of the marketplace fee.
What a routed question looks like
Nithya R. (corporate & SaaS contracts, ⭐ 4.9) is online. ₹45/min, typically answers in under 4 minutes. Connect?
Honest metering
Billing starts at connect and stops at hangup. Buyers set a spend ceiling before the call; the agent warns at 80% and cuts cleanly at the cap.
Verified peers only
Experts pass credential and identity checks before their first rupee. Ratings are tied to completed, paid sessions — not to sign-ups.
Instant payouts
Expert payouts settle to the linked account after the session clears, with the marketplace fee itemised on every line.
Multi-channel agent workflows, not another app to install
Both products run on one orchestration layer: agents that hold context across WhatsApp, voice and SMS, handle unstructured human negotiation, and hand off to payments and escrow without a human operator in the loop.
One thread, many channels
A deal that starts as a voice note and continues over chat two days later is the same conversation, with the same memory and the same limits.
Built for messy input
Blurred ticket photos, half-stated budgets, regional-language voice notes. The agent asks the one clarifying question it needs and moves on.
Auditable by design
Every offer, counter, hold and release is written to an immutable trade log that both sides — and our trust team — can replay.
India-native payments
UPI collect, mandates and instant payouts, with micro-payment requests raised in-thread instead of redirecting to a checkout page.
Trust & safety loop
Duplicate-asset detection, seller scoring, velocity limits and automatic suspension before a bad listing ever reaches a buyer.
Composable
Ticketing partners, authenticators and expert networks plug in through one integration surface and inherit escrow and settlement for free.
Straight answers
No. Both products work end to end inside WhatsApp or over a phone call. The web console exists for people who want a dashboard view of their trades, bookings and wallet — it is optional.
Each side privately sets a reserve — a seller floor and a buyer ceiling. The agent only ever quotes prices inside the overlap, and if there is no overlap it says the gap cannot be closed without revealing either number. Neither party sees the other's limit at any point.
Intake runs document parsing plus a source-of-truth check — issuer or ticketing API for events, serial and authenticator reports for luxury goods, grading-house certificate lookups for collectibles. Duplicate barcodes and re-listed serials are flagged automatically and the seller is suspended pending review.
Never directly between users. The buyer's payment is collected into escrow at agreement. It is released to the seller only once the asset has been handed over and the buyer's confirmation window has passed, or the agent has independently confirmed transfer with the issuer.
Experts are paid per metered minute or per answered query. The buyer is charged at session close, the marketplace fee is itemised on the statement, and the net amount settles to the expert's linked account. Nothing is deducted before a session completes.
